Subject: Jens Kästel Leaves Funker Vogt

As presented on the Official Funker Vogt Facebook Page:

Liebe Fans & Freunde,

This translates to roughly:

Dear Fans & Friends,

the time has come to share something with you which has troubled me for the past few days.

The show on 30.11.13 in Berlin will be the last where I'll be appearing as frontman of Funker Vogt.

I will not speak publicly about the reasons behind this decision, because my loyalty to Funker Vogt was & still is for me the highest priority. The past 18 years with good and bad times has been an important part of my life, I will always treasure it with pride.

I would like to thank those who have supported me as a singer of Funker Vogt all these years. Your support was what drove me and made it all possible.

I don't find the adequate words right, so I'm simply going to say this: Thank you again. We'll see what time brings.

Jens Kästel

Subject: Live Execution RE-RELEASE

New DVD `Live Execution `99` (June 04th 2010).

Rerelease of the rare VHS-Tape `Live Execution `99`.

This release is espcecially for the Funker Vogt fans, who always asked for a rerelease of this particular VHS-Tape on DVD.

Here they get the original material, according to the standards of that time.

The recordings are over ten years old,it is a historic document!

We have added even older footage as for example recordings from the Zillo-Festival 1998 in Hildesheim, which later turned into the today well known M`era Luna Festival.

Even though it is old the quality is still pretty good and it is something we think the fans will appreciate.

Subject: Warzone K17 - Live Release Date

Who would have thought back in 1995 that FUNKER VOGT, originally a side project of Hameln-based band RAVENOUS, would go on in record time to become one of Germany`s the most popular electronic acts?

Despite the frequently provocative themes of their lyrics - war and the military - which consciously irritate and disturb, their fan community has been growing continuously. Even early releases, such as "Thanks For Nothing" and "Tragic Hero", soon became EBM classics, and the duo consisting of Gerrit Thomas (keyboards) and Jens Kästel (vocals) has been complemented by Björn Böttcher (keyboards), Frank Schweigert (guitar) und Thomas Kroll (guitar) at the band`s increasingly sophisticated live shows. Most recently, since the arrival of their last two studio albums, "Navigator" and "Aviator", it has become quite apparent that FUNKER VOGT have become a force to be reckoned with on the electro scene - unwavering, indestructible and, above all, unmistakable.

So, a live retrospective of their creative oeuvre is long overdue. Recorded on 26 April 2008 at Berlin`s K17, this double CD features a full concert consisting of all 22 hits from the past 12 years - a concert that was as raw, dynamic, and unvarnished as we`ve come to know FUNKER VOGT. These are all original recordings, with nothing ironed out or added in the studio. When it came to the mix, the emphasis was placed on the live atmosphere, so for the first time, the familiar FUNKER VOGT hits are presented the way we`ve known and loved them for years.

Warzone K17 - Live Double-DVD
Recorded on 26 April 2008 at Berlin`s K17, this double DVD features a full concert consisting of all 22 hits from the past 12 years - a concert that was as raw, dynamic, and unvarnished as we`ve come to know FUNKER VOGT. These are all original recordings, with nothing ironed out or added in the studio. Everything was recorded in top quality, filmed with 6 HD cameras plus camera crane in 5.1 surround sound. When it came to the mix, the emphasis was placed on the live atmosphere, so for the first time, the familiar FUNKER VOGT hits are presented the way we`ve known and loved them for years.

But that`s not nearly all: the second DVD includes "Wrestling, Shotguns, Trailer Parks", a 105-minute film which tells interested fans everything they`ve ever wanted to know about their heroes, supported by interviews with the band and everybody involved, as well as tour impressions. Additional highlights are recordings from FUNKER VOGT`s performances at the M`era Luna festivals 2002, 2004 and 2006, including the 2004 concert in its entirety. These shows, as well as five tracks from the 2007 release "Aviator" (on DVD 1), round off the picture and document impressively the band`s development over the years. And as if all that wasn`t enough, there`s also a slide show and fan interviews, giving the fans an opportunity to talk about FUNKER VOGT and how they see the band.

In other words, "Warzone K17" has turned into a breathtaking offering and lasting document of FUNKER VOGT`s position as unique EBM heroes. Format
